Táquira surge ante la necesidad de preservar las tradiciones artesanales y culturales de nuestro país, exhibiendo productos que permitan dar a conocer la cerámica y la alfarería colombiana mediante la utilización de materias primas autóctonas, técnicas de extracción, transformación y elaboración tradicional, para realizar un producto con proyección en el mercado manteniendo la identidad y las bases culturales.
